Our 24/7 crisis services offer voluntary community based intervention to individuals in need wherever they are, including home, school, or anywhere else in the community where the person is experiencing a crisis.

OHRS provides Mobile Rapid Response Crisis Services and Involuntary Treatment Assessments.

Mobile Crisis Team

Serving Thurston & Mason Counties
  • Provides mobile crisis intervention services in varied environments in the community.

  • Assesses risk and safety factors of clients in crisis in the Thurston and Mason communities 

  • Referrals can be made by any person in the community. 

  • No insurance required to receive mobile crisis intervention services. 

lAW ENFORCEMENTCO- RESPONDER TEAMS

Partnering with Olympia Police Department, Lacey Police Department, and Thurston County Sherriff's Office.
  • OHRS employs 1 full time Designated Crisis Responder (DCR) to work with Olympia Police Department Officers providing Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) evaluations. Lacey Police and Thurston County Sherriff's Office both have 2 Crisis Clinicians and 2 Crisis Peer Specialists in their Co-Responder teams providing mobile crisis outreach.

  • Co-Responder teams develop a network or working relationships with jails, treatment providers, housing providers, veterans services, and other social services providers to help connect individuals contacted by law enforcement who may have behavioral health disorders or other needs.

  • Provide outreach, engagement, and liaison support to individuals seen on a recurring basis that require short term intensive case management.

  • Bridge gaps between police and/or emergency medical contacts and social services providers.

  • No insurance required to receive co-responder services. 

DESIGNATED CRISISRESPONDERS

Serving a 7 County Region
(Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Pacific, Cowlitz, and Wahkiakum)
  • Provides Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) evaluation services according to RCW 71.05 and 71.34.

  • Assesses risk and safety factors of clients in crisis in a 7 county region (Thurston, Mason, Cowlitz, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Pacific, and Wahkiakum)

  • Referrals can be made by any person in the community.

  • No insurance required to receive ITA evaluation services.
